For me this was a project that should have been simple but I could not figure out how to approach it at all. Started with a trip to the natural history museum in Hong Kong where I tried to find a topic to photograph. I was fascinated by these stone rings that people made in the neolithic period as the first form of art (picture of inspiration below). I thought about how a child back then may have lifted the large stone ring to his eye to look through it and how I would do the same thousands of years later. So I sought out to photograph the city of Honk Kong through one of these stone rings as if that Neolithic child had looked through his/hers and seen the future. This is what I came up with.
